Obituaries, traditionally, are brief summaries of standard milestones in a person’s life: School, marriage, family, career. But your loved one lived so much more life than that. If you want something that’s truly reflective of the complexity of who they were and the mark they left on this world, I am happy to offer long-form, narrative obituaries.

Let’s celebrate the details and the stories that made this person so very special. They deserve that. And you shouldn’t have to worry abut writing it while grieving. That’s what I’m here for.

We’ll start with a 30-minute conversation, during which I’ll gather the details I need to write a thorough, thoughtful obituary. I’ll send you a draft within 72-hours (quicker turn arounds are often available when needed). Then it’s your turn to share any feedback or changes. I’ll work those in and send you a final draft, typically that same day.

A eulogy can be whatever you want it to be—whatever makes sense for the person you’re eulogizing: One great story that illuminates something about them; an overview of all the most memorable events of their life; a themed exploration of something more specific. It’s up to you! But that can be overwhelming.

I help narrow down all the things you want to say, to identify what, why, and how you want to say it.

We’ll start with a 30 to 60-minute conversation. I find these vary in length and complexity more than obituaries, hence the extra time and rate. I then write a first draft in 48 to 72 hours. You can respond with feedback or edits, and I’ll deliver a final draft within 24 hours.
